News Letter June 2014
Welcome
to our first newsletter. We thought this would be a good time to inform our
clients where we are up to and what we are planning.
First
of all, where did it all start? Well that one is easy; we both decided that as
we enjoy working together and being with animal’s it made sense to start a
business where we could pool both our skills. I have the veterinary skills and
Paul has an excellent background in business and economics and within the agricultural
sector. Bingo!! We decided to devise a business where animal welfare was the
upmost importance and also, to provide a range of services that would suit both
pet owners and pet care professionals.
Vet
Nurse Direct then became a reality when we both realised that this was the way
forward for both of us. We have not been ‘out there’ long, but we certainly
have been getting some press attention.
We are going to be:
·
Featured
in a veterinary nurse journal
·
Featured
in Lancashire Life
And
we have been asked to write a regular column for another veterinary
journal. Phew!, not sure where this is
all going to end, next move TV, radio?.
Recently
we were awarded approval from the Veterinary Medicines Directorate to supply
veterinary medicines; this was a major achievement for us, as we have got the
same approval as all the big names out there. Think it must have been the
relentless cups of coffee and biscuits we offered Ewan from the veterinary
medicines directorate, when he came to approve us.
So where are we
up to now…..
We
have updated our site, put products on our shop, and purchased new scanning
products to microchip your pets.
We
are in the process of designing pet first aid kits, essential for our four
legged friends
Designing
new materials for our new course – Pet Health and Welfare
Now
offering a pet sitting service – ideal for those who are at work
Next
month we will give you further updates and news, in the meantime don’t forget
if you require any of our services please get in touch and we will be more than
happy to discuss your requirements.
